MARY LOU SEEREITER
Mary Lou Seereiter is a Registered Movement Therapist, Certified Practitioner and Teacher of Body Mind Centering®, a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and Authentic Movement Facilitator. She taught dance and Somatics at Lane Community College for 34 years, 25 of which she served as director of the Dance Program. A visiting scholar at Ohio State University and a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award for outstanding contributions to her field from the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, Mary Lou continues to teach privately and in BMC℠ certification programs.
Wendy Hambidge is a Certified Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Teacher, Infant Developmental Movement Educator and a Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist. She teaches on Body-Mind Centering® certification programs in the US and Germany and is Board Chair and President of the Body-Mind Centering® Association. She has been playing in the world of BMC℠ since 1990. Wendy brings a deep heartfelt sensibility and her history as a dancer, choreographer and lifelong practice of Transcendental meditation to her teaching.
Mark Taylor, president of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association, directs the Center for BodyMindMovement, providing Somatic Movement programs in Pittsburgh, Mexico, and Brazil. (bodymindmovement.com). For the School of Body-Mind Centering®, he was U.S. program director and taught in programs in Germany, France, and Slovakia. His practice is influenced by his work as dancer and choreographer, inspired by being the parent of a son with developmental disabilities, and supported by thirty-eight years of meditation practice. He now enjoys studying Somatic Experiencing®.
Amy Matthews is a Certified Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Teacher, an Infant Developmental Movement Educator, a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and a movement therapist and yoga teacher. She leads the BMC℠ & Yoga programs in the United States and has taught embodied anatomy and workshops for programs in the U.S. and internationally since 1994. Rebecca Haseltine is a Certified Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Teacher, a Registered Somatic Movement Therapist, a developmental specialist and a Certified Somatic Therapist with over 20 years experience working with babies, children and adults. She teaches in BMC℠ training programs in Germany, California, and Oregon. Her practice, Body Learning™ includes hands-on bodywork and play-based movement therapy.
