MARY LOU SEEREITER
Mary Lou Seereiter is a Registered Movement Therapist, Certified Practitioner and Teacher of Body Mind Centering®, a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and Authentic Movement Facilitator. She taught dance and Somatics at Lane Community College for 34 years, 25 of which she served as director of the Dance Program. A visiting scholar at Ohio State University and a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award for outstanding contributions to her field from the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, Mary Lou continues to teach privately and in BMC℠ certification programs.
Amy Matthews is a Certified Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Teacher, an Infant Developmental Movement Educator, a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and a movement therapist and yoga teacher. She is the Program Director for Sonder Movement Project’s SME & IDME programs in the US, and co-Educational Director of the SME program at Moving Within.
Amy is also the co-Founder and co-Director of Babies Project, a space in NYC dedicated to developmental movement education for babies of all ages. Olive Bieringa is a dance maker, somatic movement therapist and cultural producer who grew up in Wellington, New Zealand, studied at the European Dance Development Center in the Netherlands and completed her MFA in Performance and New Media from Long Island University in Brooklyn, NY. She is a certified teacher of Body-Mind Centering®, certified DanceAbility teacher, working with performers of all abilities, and a Shiatsu practitioner.

Jens Johannsen, 1959, Fresdorf, Germany is a dancer, movement-educator and therapist. Since 1978 he has been exploring body and mind correlations through movement, touch, dance, theatre, yoga, meditation, Humanistic and Buddhist Psychology. Amongst his teachers are Lama Chime Rinpoche, Matt Mitler, Grotowsky Laboratory, Bob Rease, Aja Addy, Suprapto Suryodharmo, Upledger Institute.
BMC training 86-89 with Bonnie Bainbridge Cohen, taught on certification-programs since 1993. Directs certification-trainings since 2003 worldwide. Performance experience since 1980. Work in private practice with clients of all ages and interests since 1982.
Jens in his work integrates detailed knowledge of physicality with humour, joy of movement and a spiritually open research.
Walburga Glatz is a Certified Teacher of Body-Mind Centering ® (BMC ® ), a registered (by ISMETA) Somatic Movement Therapist and Educator™ and an Infant Developmental Movement Educator™ (IDME™). She has further trainings in Cranio-Sacral-Therapy and Lymphatic Drainage, in different techniques of New Dance, Action Theatre, Butoh, T’ai Chi, and Tango Argentino. Her first career before becoming fully dedicated to BMC ® was in law and she is holding a PhD in Law.
She lives in Berlin (Germany), teaches internationally, mainly in BMC ® Certification Programs around the world, and is the director of three licensed BMC ® and IDME Programs - two in Europe (Slovakia and Spain) and one in South America (Argentina). In her work both with adults and children, the concrete freedom of non-judgemental exploration and the philosophy and poetry of the body have become her focus. Rebecca Haseltine loves to move and is inspired by movement. She created a special major in college combining dance, art, science and education. She fell in love with BMC in 1991 and became a Certified Practitioner in 1994, a Certified Teacher in 2012, and an Infant Developmental Movement Educator in 2015. She has a practice in San Francisco called Body Learning in which she has worked extensively with children with special needs and adults with a variety of questions and interests. Diane Elliot began her study of Body-Mind Centering® in 1977 with Gale Turner. As a modern dancer, movement teacher, and choreographer based in New York City and Minneapolis, she performed throughout the U.S. and shared her work to France, Hungary, and Canada. A student of many somatic modalities, she is a Certified Teacher and Practitioner of Body-Mind Centering® and has maintained a private practice and taught the work independently and in SBMC training programs since 1983. Wendy Hambidge is a certified Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Teacher, Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist, and an Infant Developmental Movement Educator. She teaches on BMC certification programs in the US, Europe and South America. As an artist, she produced dance work for 30 years and holds an MFA in choreography and performance. Wendy first encountered Body-Mind Centering in 1990 where she found it to radiate with possibility for self-study, movement, and choreography.

Mark C. Taylor, RSMT, directs the Center for BodyMindMovement, with certification programs in the U.S., Brazil, Chile, and Mexico. He is a Somatic Experiencing practitioner; a certified teacher of Body-Mind Centering; and served SBMC as U.S. program director, teaching in programs in France, Germany, Slovakia, and the U.S. He has been influenced by his work as a dancer and choreographer, inspired by being the parent of a son with developmental disabilities, and supported by forty-five years of meditation practice. He is the author of Embody the Skeleton: A Guide for Conscious Movement (Handspring Publishing) and served as board president of the International Somatic Movement Education and Therapy Association. Eileen Kinsella has been working with person centered, integrative body-mind concepts for over 35 years. Using a creative somatic approach that applies neuroscience, ancient wisdom practices, and Body-Mind Centering®, Eileen oﬀers private sessions and classes for individuals and groups. A Registered Somatic Therapist and Educator, Body-Mind Centering® Professional, Infant Developmental Movement Educator (IDME), Board Certiﬁed Therapeutic Bodywork and Massage Professional, Somatic Experiencing Practitioner (SEP), Eileen has woven depth work in movement practices into a system of embodiment for both land based and water supported life ﬁtness.
