MARY LOU SEEREITER 

Mary Lou Seereiter is a Registered Movement Therapist, Certified Practitioner and Teacher of Body-Mind Centering®, a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and  Authentic Movement Facilitator. She taught dance and Somatics at Lane Community College for 34 years, 25 of which she served as director of the Dance Program.  A visiting scholar at Ohio State University and a recipient of the Distinguished Alumni Award for outstanding contributions to her field from the University of Oregon School of Music and Dance, Mary Lou continues to teach privately and in BMC® certification programs.

 

AMY MATTHEWS

Amy Matthews is a Certified Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Teacher, an Infant Developmental Movement Educator, a Certified Laban Movement Analyst and a movement therapist and yoga teacher. She is the Program Director for Sonder Movement Project’s SME & IDME programs in the US, and co-Educational Director of the SME program at Moving Within.

Amy is also the co-Founder and co-Director of Babies Project, a space in NYC dedicated to developmental movement education for babies of all ages. She co-authored the book Yoga Anatomy and teaches embodied anatomy and developmental movement workshops around the world. Visit Amy’s website at: embodiedasana.com.

Rebecca Haseltine

Rebecca Haseltine loves to move and is inspired by movement. She created a special major in college combining dance, art, science and education. She fell in love with BMC® in 1991 and became a Certified Practitioner in 1994, a Certified Teacher in 2012, and an Infant Developmental Movement Educator in 2015. She has a practice in San Francisco called Body Learning in which she has worked extensively with children with special needs and adults with a variety of questions and interests. Her work is influenced by her dance performance experience and her long-term studies in Tai Qi and Qi Gong. To see her artwork, please visit rebeccahaseltine.com.

Wendy Hambidge

Wendy Hambidge is a certified Body-Mind Centering® Practitioner and Teacher, Registered Somatic Movement Educator and Therapist, and an Infant Developmental Movement Educator. She teaches on BMC® certification programs in the US, Europe and South America. As an artist, she produced dance work for 30 years and holds an MFA in choreography and performance. Wendy first encountered Body-Mind Centering® in 1990 where she found it to radiate with possibility for self-study, movement, and choreography.

Currently along with teaching BMC® in various settings, Wendy utilizes BMC® in creating her art, social justice work, and with private clients, both adults and babies. To learn more please visit livinginthebody.com.
